An eight year old's view of God

I'm trying to get my "My Documents" folder from being the general junk bin that it is into some sort of organized file drawer. We'll see how long that lasts. Anyway, I came across this gem so I thought I'd post it:
Eight year old Danny wrote this about God: "One of his main jobs is making people to replace the ones who die. Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista, at least there aren't any who come to our church. If you don't believe in God, you will be lonely, because your parents can't go with you everywhere, like to camp; but God can. It's good to know he's around when you're scared of the dark or when you are thrown in the deep water by the big kids." SOURCE UNKNOWN

On heavy rotation

The Girl in the Other Room by Diana Krall.
I've listened to this daily since I got it a couple weeks ago. Highly recommend it.

I have When I Look in Your Eyes as well and enjoy it equally. One reviewer on Amazon didn't like this one near as much and thought the sound of her voice has changed. In a word...no. This one is great too. Give it a few spins, you won't be sorry!

CDs and DVDs Not So Immortal After All

This article from eWeek discusses new found problems with CDs and DVDs and offers some good suggestions on their care.
CDs and DVDs Not So Immortal After All: "Part of the problem is that most people believe that it's the clear underside of the CD that is fragile, when in fact it's the side with the label. Scratches on the underside have to be fairly deep to cause skipping, while scratches on the top can easily penetrate to the aluminum layer. Even the pressure of a pen on the label side can dent the aluminum, rendering the CD unreadable. "
