1985-present          Freelance book indexer specializing in biography, medical 
references, and texts, with an emphasis in the  disparate fields of  
civics and government, entertainment, media, education, speech and language sciences,  
otolaryngology, and education  (early childhood and special) 
 
1980-1985            Managing editor of College-Hill Press, a small academic publisher  
specializing in speech-language pathology. I handled manuscripts  
from acquisition through design and copyediting through proofing  
and indexing, coordinating production with authors, from acquisition through publication.
